Well, here's the good news. I've been accepted to the University of Washington Graduate School to study in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program. At completion I will have attained an Educational Doctorate (EdD)degree!
Dr. Michael Vendiola... Wow!
About the title of this post, "The Letter", my buddy Earl Martin told me the old school method of knowing whether you were accepted to the program from his era was that if you get the "heavy envelope" you are in. And, if you didn't get in the program you'd get the "light envelope". But it was confirmed later that way of knowing was no longer accurate. So I was really stressed when I got the letter in the mail and it was neither heavy nor light and there was no model of judging. So, for those aspiring to get into the program, I don't know what to tell you. I was pleased to just to be getting a letter from the Graduate Admissions office. Coming next, the accepted admissions essay!
